Position:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gardener within our Portering Department based at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
Hours and Shift Pattern:Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm
Friday 8am - 2:30pm
This post is offered on a permanent basis
To maintain and ensure the grounds within ACH site & North Clinics/Health Centre's are attractive and environmentally safe including all winter contingency planning tasks ie gritting/salt spreading, snow clearing etc. Applicants should be physically fit and able to maintain large scale gardens and grounds using industrial horticultural equipment including grass cutting equipment, edgers, strimmers and hedge cutters etc.

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:Certification In PA1 and PA6 are essential for this role. Horticultural knowledge of shrubs, plants, trees, bedding plants and suitability for various soils and locations is essential and you should have knowledge/understanding of correct fuel mixture for 2 stroke i.e. (petrol & oil).

UK Driving Licence:Full UK driving licence is essential to this role.
