Furniture Projects Officer (Furnished Tenancies) - Permanent, Part-Time. 22.5 hours per week.
An exciting opportunity to join our Furniture Projects Team. We are dedicated to providing access to affordable furniture for households in need, committed to excellent customer service, and making a positive impact in our community.
Responsibilities- Coordinate, deliver, and monitor our furniture offer, including furnished tenancies and recycling services.
- Assess eligibility for affordable furniture packages and arrange appropriate offers for households in need.
- Develop effective communication links across the Furniture Team and with SHG colleagues.
- Clearly communicate with customers to ensure they understand the procedures and requirements of a furnished tenancy.
- Maintain efficient and accurate records for transparency and accountability.
- Support in preparing and monitoring all income and expenditure related to furnished tenancies.
- Conduct property visits and audits, recording and monitoring the furnished tenancy process.
- Promote the furniture offer with internal and external partners, attending meetings and events as required.
- Manage challenging situations regarding furnished tenancy packages and respond to safeguarding issues.
- Commitment, passion, and enthusiasm for excellent customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in working with a diverse customer base and handling challenging situations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle if required.
