Fund Accountant

What You Need to Know

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fund Accountant to join a well established financial services leader based in Dublin City Centre.

This role is a 9 month contract with some possibility of extension and offers a hybrid working model of 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home.

Your New Job

As a Fund Accountant, you'll play a key part in preparing, updating, and verifying data and reports related to mutual funds. You'll be working closely with internal teams as well as clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Collate and report mutual fund data for various stakeholders including clients
• Complete assigned surveys and maintain relevant worksheets
• Update and oversee mutual fund databases
• Prepare regular reports and notifications
• Contribute to production of financial statements
• Perform reconcilements on holdings, accruals, trades, and cash balances
• Verify issued tax statements for the Tax Department

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of Fund Accounting experience
• Previous experience using Geneva or Investran platforms required
• Strong attention to detail and proven analytical skills
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
