Job Description
FP&A Programme Manager

Contract: Initial 6 Month Contract (Likely Extension to 12 Months)

Location: London - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote

We are supporting a major organisation undergoing a significant finance transformation programme and are seeking an experienced FP&A Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a large scale Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation.

This is a high profile role with responsibility for driving the successful delivery of planning, forecasting and performance management initiatives across a complex stakeholder landscape.

The Role

As FP&A Programme Manager, you will take ownership of a strategic finance transformation programme centred on EPM planning capabilities, whilst also overseeing related finance consolidation workstreams. A smooth handover period is planned, so candidates who can be available within the next few weeks are highly desirable.

You'll work closely with senior finance leaders, technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery, balancing structure with flexibility in an environment that combines traditional project governance with Agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of a finance transformation programme focused on FP&A and EPM planning capabilities.
  • Manage multiple workstreams covering consolidation planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial performance management.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across finance, technology and business functions.
  • Ensure programme milestones, risks, dependencies and budgets are effectively managed.
  • Support finance teams through process change and transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate vendors, implementation partners and internal project teams.
  • Provide leadership, governance and programme reporting to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven track record delivering multiple EPM programmes within large organisations.
  • Strong experience across planning, budgeting, forecasting and FP&A transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of EPM platforms covering financial planning and consolidation processes.
  • Demonstrable programme management experience within complex transformation environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to navigate challenging stakeholder groups with confidence and resilience.
  • Experience working within both traditional waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Strong leadership presence with a proactive, energetic and positive approach.
Personal Attributes

We're looking for someone who:

  • Brings energy and momentum to programmes.
  • Is tenacious, optimistic and delivery focused.
  • Thrives in complex and evolving environments.
  • Can build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders.
  • Combines strong commercial awareness with excellent interpersonal skills.
