Functional Analyst (Mid Level)
Location: Madrid - Serrano Street (city center)
Format: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in-office)
At Ultrai, we believe in building tech that actually makes sense - clean, smart, and scalable. We're looking for a Middle-Level Functional Analyst to join our product and tech team, working closely with the CTO and Head of Product in a fast-paced, startup-driven environment.
Your responsibilities
- Write clear, precise, and highly detailed technical documentation that speaks to both developers and product teams.
- Review documents obsessively - accuracy and attention to detail are a must.
- Take thorough technical notes during meetings to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Support the CTO in organizing and following up on sprint progress (note: you won't be responsible for full sprint tracking).
- Collaborate daily with the CTO and Head of Product to refine and elevate technical specs.
- Design simple UX wireframes that follow existing guidelines to improve user understanding and tool usability.
- Be proactive: anticipate team needs, propose documentation/process improvements, and help make things smoother.
What are we looking for?
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- English proficiency (C1)
- Ability to think critically and synthesize complex information
- A love for structure, clarity, and elegant documentation
- Bonus if you've worked in agile environments or with cross-functional product teams
