About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a passionate and committed Fully Qualified Teacher to work across a range of SEN and SEMH schools in Chorley and Skelmersdale. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who require additional emotional, behavioural, and learning support in specialist settings.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and complex needs
- Manage and support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) challenges
- Implement and review IEPs and EHCPs
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience working in SEN and/or SEMH settings is highly desirable
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A resilient, patient, and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
