Full time Nanny Housekeeper near Glastonbury

Overview

This family is looking for a calm, capable and trustworthy person to become part of a busy but relaxed family home supporting three children, including a baby. The children are aged 9, 7, and 18 months.

Responsibilities

• During the day focus primarily on caring for the 18 month old, planning engaging and age appropriate activities, encouraging development through play, and spending plenty of time outdoors.
• After school, provide flexible support: take one or both of the older children to clubs or activities, help with homework or the evening routine, or remain at home with the toddler while the parents take the older children.
• Other duties: prepare children's meals, do children's laundry, keep bedrooms and play areas clean and organised, carry out light child related household duties, and support the overall running of the family home.
• Occasional babysitting and accompaniment of the family on UK and overseas trips.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum two years of childcare experience.
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate (12 hour required).
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
• Two professional referees including a current or last employer, immediately contactable.
• Driving licence (car to use on duty).
• Comfortable with parents working from home.

Working Conditions & Benefits

• Permanent position; long term role in the countryside.
• Location: Glastonbury.
• Working days: Monday Friday.
• Hours: 9am 5pm (flexibility required).
• Start date: September.
• Salary: £16 gross per hour.
• Occasional trips abroad and a calm, informal household environment.
