Job Description Full Stack JavaScript Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join our growing team.

We combine a deep understanding of our clients' legal needs with the speed and innovation of a technology startup. Our portfolio covers a large spectrum of legal tech solutions including artificial intelligence, eDiscovery, information analysis, regulatory updates, databases, deal rooms, workflow management, case management, document automation, risk assessment, reporting, and apps.

2. ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using the latest technologies. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain full stack web applications using JavaScript (TypeScript), React, and GraphQL. • Collaborate on the design and implementation of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. • Design and implement back-end APIs and services to support front-end functionalities. • Write clean, efficient, and modular code adhering to best practices and coding standards. • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability. • Collaborate on database design and management of those systems (PostgreSQL or MongoDB). • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues. • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field of web development.

4. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Strong proficiency in JavaScript programming language. • Experience with React.js and its ecosystem. • Familiarity with GraphQL and its implementation (Apollo, Relay, etc.). • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

5. OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS

• Developing mobile applications using Ionic or similar hybrid frameworks. • Developing native iOS or Android applications. • Managing and optimizing database systems (PostgreSQL or MongoDB). • Contributing to UI/UX design discussions and providing input on user experience improvements.

6. OTHER DETAILS

• Full-time employee. • Reports to Global Head of Product Development. • Located preferably in Amsterdam (Netherlands) but willing to be flexible (EU) and can accommodate agile work environments. • Compensation in the range of €70,000 - €90,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
