Full Stack Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Dynatrace Engineer for a freelance assignment focused on enhancing observability in cloud and hybrid IT landscapes. This role centers around deep knowledge of Dynatrace SaaS, MONACO (Management as Code), and integration into Azure DevOps-based CI/CD pipelines.

You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing monitoring frameworks to support multiple development and operations teams. The position allows for a high degree of autonomy while staying aligned with a centralized observability strategy. You'll help define and embed best practices in proactive monitoring, alerting, and auto-remediation.

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Dynatrace SaaS across cloud and on-premise environments
• Use MONACO for automated and scalable observability configuration
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps with integrated observability features
• Collaborate with delivery teams to identify and fulfill monitoring requirements
• Develop intuitive dashboards and performance reports for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM platforms for automated incident management workflows
• Enhance monitoring with AI-driven capabilities like anomaly detection and predictive analysis
• Contribute to DevSecOps efforts by embedding observability into development pipelines
• Provide coaching and technical expertise to teams for optimal use of observability tools

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Dynatrace SaaS implementation and optimization
• Proficiency in using MONACO for configuration as code
• Solid experience managing CI/CD in Azure DevOps environments
• Good knowledge of cloud services (preferably Azure) and container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with integrating observability platforms with ITSM tools
• Skilled in building actionable dashboards, alerts, and reporting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and in agile, cross-functional teams
• Dutch-speaking candidates are highly preferred; English fluency is required
