Full Stack Developer

Coventry | Hybrid Working | Flexible Hours

I'm currently recruiting for a Full Stack Developer to join an innovative and growing technology business based in Coventry.

This is a particularly exciting opportunity as you'll be joining the business at the start of a brand-new hardware and IoT product development programme, helping to shape and develop the cloud-based applications that sit behind the next generation of intelligent connected devices.

Working closely with the CTO, Embedded Software Engineers, Electronics Engineers and the wider engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to influence products from the ground up, with everything designed, developed and manufactured in-house.

The role will focus heavily on the Back End development of web applications, APIs and cloud services, whilst still giving you exposure across the full technology stack.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for developing and enhancing the company's web applications and cloud platforms, including IoT device services and customer-facing applications.

This is a genuine full life cycle development role where you'll be involved in everything from requirements gathering and architecture through to deployment, monitoring and ongoing enhancement.

You'll also have direct involvement with a number of high-profile customers, helping to turn real-world business challenges into innovative technical solutions.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience developing applications using C# and .NET/ASP.NET Core
  • Strong Back End development experience
  • Experience building and supporting REST APIs
  • Angular and TypeScript experience
  • SQL Server and Entity Framework Core
  • Azure cloud technologies
  • Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working with IoT-connected products or device integration would be highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of MQTT and HTTPS communications advantageous
  • Agile development environment experience

This role would suit a Full Stack Developer who enjoys working closely with engineering teams, wants ownership of what they're building and is looking for the opportunity to work on genuinely innovative IoT products from concept through to release.
