Fulfilment - Transport Planner

The Fulfilment - Transport Planner position, based in Leicestershire, involves coordinating daily delivery schedules through effective use of the driver network. Working 30 hours weekly across either Friday to Monday or Wednesday to Saturday you will handle incoming driver calls, resolve queries, and arrange deliveries. Outbound calls to customers regarding schedule alterations and re-routing also fall within this remit. Offered on a temporary basis through Manpower UK, this role pays £13.85 hourly, rising to £20.78 for overtime and weekend shifts. Free parking, PPE, and training are supplied. Competitive Pay & Working Hours

• Competitive Pay: Earn £13.85 per hour, 30 hours per week plus OT as required, overtime rates of £20.78 per hour, weekend rates £20.78 per hour.
• Shifts: Friday to Monday OR Wednesday to Saturday - 0600 - 1400 hrs.

Responsibilities

• Taking incoming calls from drivers, assisting with queries and arranging deliveries.
• Despatching orders to customers through optimum use of the driver network.
• Making outgoing calls to customers to inform them of any delivery changes and re-routing drivers to deal with urgent orders.

Requirements

• Good telephone manner.
• Experience completing general admin duties.
• Computer literate.
• Customer service or transport experience beneficial.
• Geographical knowledge beneficial however not essential.
• Ability to think on feet and be pro-active.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check.

Contract & Availability

• Temporary basis through Manpower UK.
• Position is an immediate start, runs through until 31st March 2027 with the potential of temp to perm.
