Job Description
Overview 
This role is a fixed term position until the end of the year. The Production Operator is responsible for manufacturing, testing, and inspecting electronic products safely and efficiently, meeting quality standards and supporting team performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, test and inspect electronic products according to work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
- Deliver production targets while maintaining high quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Identify, resolve or escalates production, process and equipment issues to support efficient operations.
- Take ownership of the quality of work and consistently uphold safety, quality and workplace standards.
- Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality, productivity and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support training and multi skilling, and help create a positive team culture.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping, 5S standards and workplace organisation.
- Carry out routine equipment checks and maintenance activities to support reliability and minimise downtime.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or engineering environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to carry out precision assembly work to a high standard.
- Soldering experience desirable; full training and certification can be provided.
- Quality-focused mindset; pride in producing accurate, right first time work.
- Reliable and proactive team player who takes ownership of responsibilities and works well with others.
- Good communication skills and willingness to support colleagues, cross training and multi skilling.
- Continuous improvement mindset; interest in Lean manufacturing, 5S, and problem solving.
- Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
- Interest or passion for electronics.
