EY FS Ireland is expanding our Consulting practice and is actively recruiting high achieving individuals with finance technology expertise and experience in large scale transformation projects in financial services.

Your Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Tech Delivery Lead with a proven track record in delivering finance technology solutions for financial services clients. The ideal candidate will manage the delivery of technology solutions that enhance finance efficiency and address regulatory needs. The candidate will have a full understanding of the system development lifecycle within a finance context and will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Manage the delivery of complex finance technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and integration across customer platforms.
• Oversee an end to end delivery process from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and post launch support.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders, product managers, architects, developers, and QA analysts to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed workstream project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget tracking.
• Serve as a point of contact for project status, risk management, and issue resolution; report progress, challenges, and successes to senior management.
• Apply best practices in project management, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams and external vendors or partners in a fast paced, multi vendor environment.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a workstream project team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology delivery, with at least 3 years delivering projects for a large consulting firm.
• Experience delivering finance technology and reporting systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong project management skills with experience of the full lifecycle of large scale finance technology programmes.
• Experience operating in a fast paced, multi vendor environment.
• Ability to deliver business value from technology and communicate that value to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and decision making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Stakeholder management and collaborative work with development and testing teams to deliver high quality solutions that meet client and user needs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation in a project context.
