Our Financial Services Climate and Sustainability practice seeks an experienced Consultant with Asset Management and/or Asset Owner expertise. Over the past five years, we've supported over £200bn in investments toward net zero, developing decarbonisation pathways for 250 million tonnes of emissions. We excel in delivering data-driven, practical solutions that help clients meet sustainability commitments while maintaining business objectives.

Our team includes industry specialists from leading asset managers, financial institutions, regulators, and think tanks. We are recognized for our market-leading work, including authoring the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) guidance, and developing tailored strategies for asset managers to achieve transition goals.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and implementing sustainability and decarbonisation strategies with leading asset managers and owners.
  • Advising on integrating sustainability into governance, investment, and reporting frameworks.
  • Helping clients deliver transition plans within core business processes.
  • Providing expertise on regulatory compliance (e.g., CSRD, SFDR, SDR).
  • Guiding sustainability reporting and disclosures.
  • Sharing insights and best practices internally to enhance team capabilities.

Your skills and experience:
  • Understanding of asset management and asset owner sectors, including their challenges in transitioning to net zero.
  • Knowledge of sustainability regulations and frameworks like CSRD, SFDR, SDR, EU Taxonomy.
  • Experience with sustainable funds and portfolio alignment under SFDR.
  • Proven project delivery skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Practical experience in asset management or asset ownership preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex regulations into actionable strategies.
  • Strong client engagement and communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CFA, IMC) are advantageous.
