Honeycomb is delighted to be working with a large public sector organisation to recruit a temporary Front of House Administrator. Based in Carrickfergus, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation on an initial 3-month temporary contract.

The RoleAs a Front of House Administrator, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors and customers, providing a friendly and professional service. You will handle enquiries, manage reception and work across a number of departments, while supporting customer payments, cash handling and the accurate maintenance of financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer enquiries in person and by telephone, providing advice and directing queries to the appropriate department.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the reception area, including visitor sign-in, passes and general reception duties.
- Process customer payments accurately across face-to-face, telephone and online channels.
- Handle, record and reconcile cash, cheques and other income in line with financial procedures.
- Maintain accurate customer, financial and administrative records using computerised systems.
- Process incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and courier items securely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in customer service and administration, with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be available for an immediate start and meet the following essential criteria:
Essential Criteria- 5 GCSEs, including English Language and Maths (Grade C or above), or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a customer service environment, including dealing effectively with the public.
- Strong IT skills and experience using computerised systems.
- Previous cash-handling experience, including the use of credit/debit card machines.
- Alternatively, if you do not have 5 GCSEs, you should demonstrate 4 years' relevant experience in the required areas, including suitable English and Maths qualifications.
- Immediate start available
- £14.13 per hour
- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 3-month temporary contract
