Responsibilities

• Manage the Fresh department in store by delivering the best availability and highest shop floor standards through execution, managing waste and date code compliance while ensuring the store is safe and legal for customers and colleagues.
• Lead the shrink agenda through the Fresh team, driving standards and inputs and acting on opportunities with clear actions.
• Plan and execute all trading activity on the shopfloor, delivering great availability standards, key metrics and KRAs through routine and processes.
• Lead with impact by engaging and coaching the team to improve routines and processes, creating a culture of selling with personality and encouraging additional items in every basket while serving customers with heart and pride.
• Ensure shopfloor, promotional and modular activity is landed to brief and on time to drive the store selling agenda.
• Support talent development by listening with empathy, driving resilience, encouraging ownership, and fostering a valued and trusted environment that motivates the team to step up.

What you'll bring

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge on food or non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
