FRENCH SPEAKERS: Mill General Manager (f/m/x) BGH-Consulting GmbH Great management role in the French paper industry:

Our client is part of a successful and future-oriented group, one of the leading companies in the paper industry in Europe.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the availability and process capability of the entire production plant including technology, in the spirit of continuous improvement (CIP)
• Financial responsibility for the mill with reporting, forecast and budgets
• Management of all employees at the plant, collaboration with the works council
• Representing the plant externally (e.g. authorities, etc.)
• Continuous development of production processes as well as standard operating and functional procedures
• Close coordination with production management
• Supervision and management of projects and troubleshooting activities (both internally and within corporate working groups)
• Support in ensuring and monitoring compliance with all standards (occupational health & safety, quality, cost, etc.)
• Support in the planning, execution, and commissioning of investment projects
• Further development of technologies, standards, and machine parameters with regard to run ability, quality, and costs
• Collection and analysis of plant-related data, reporting

Education & professional experiences:

• Degree in Process Engineering (Paper Production, Mechanical Engineering) or a comparable field of study
• Several years of hands-on leadership experience in paper production and technology
• Experience in project management and/or comparable challenges
• Solid business management knowledge
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
• Proven experience in employee management
• Confident in delegating tasks
