The Role

What the School is Looking For

This permanent French & Spanish ECT role will suit candidates who:

• Hold QTS or are in the final stages of a UK recognised initial teacher training programme
• Have graduated with a 2:1 or above in Modern Languages or a related discipline, ideally from a Russell Group or similarly well regarded university
• Can demonstrate classroom experience in a UK secondary school setting through timetabled placements or an ECT year
• Show a clear ability to plan structured, progressive lessons and evidence measurable improvement in pupil language skills
• Are confident managing a classroom within an established whole school behaviour framework
• Hold full legal entitlement to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available through this school

This role is open to candidates who have completed or are completing formal UK teacher training only.

Salary & Contract

Outer London MPS: £37,870 to £50,474, with UPS up to £56,154. Salary on appointment will reflect ECT status, with incremental progression as induction is successfully completed.
