Freelance Talent Pool: Event Production Manager

Reform UK is expanding its freelance production team and is seeking experienced Production Managers to deliver complex, high-profile political events across the United Kingdom.

This role is hands-on, operational, and delivery-focused. You will work alongside our in-house team and take on responsibility for turning creative and strategic direction into safe, well-executed live events - often under significant time pressure and public scrutiny.

You will work primarily from Reform UK's Westminster HQ, with frequent travel required at short notice, including evenings and weekends.

What to expect

As a Freelance Production Manager, you will be responsible for the technical and operational delivery of assigned Reform UK events, ensuring production runs safely, on time, and to specification.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Production Manager on live events (political, broadcast, conference, or large-scale public events preferred)
• Strong technical understanding of live event production systems and workflows
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to lead teams on site and make clear decisions under pressure
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
• A full UK driving licence is desirable
