HOSPITAL WARD REFURBISHMENT

We're Hiring: Freelance Site Manager

Location: Manchester

Sectors: Commercial

Freelance: £260 - £280 a day Duration: 5 weeks

What you'll do as a Freelance Site Manager

• Run a hospital refurbishment project in Manchester City Centre
• Report directly to the Project Manager
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
• Liaise with client regularly
• Support commissioning and final handovers

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Chair and manage daily meetings (Client and internal)
• Ensure project runs smoothly on day to day basis
• Ensure H&S is adhered to & updated accordingly
• Record on site progress and lookaheads
• Report into Senior Management
• Work closely with the contracts manager

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Experience as a Site Manager (preferably in hospitals/schools/colleges)
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a Site Managers position
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
