Job Description

SaaS B2B - Customer Support / Cobrowsing

Freelance

Location: Remote (UK/Europe timezone preferred). Optional in-person meetings in London.
Role type: Freelance
Contract length: 2 - 4 weeks paid trial, followed by an ongoing monthly retainer (approx. 12 months)
Deliverables: 4 SEO-optimised articles per month (800 - 1500 words)
Compensation: Payment is structured per completed article during the trial period, transitioning to a monthly retainer after a successful trial.

We're Upscope - a small SaaS team based in London and Miami.

UserView is our cobrowsing product that helps support and onboarding teams guide users directly on their website. Instead of explaining where to click, teams can show users in real time.

We're building organic acquisition as a growth channel - and we need someone who understands how to make that happen.

Main responsibilities

We're looking for a freelance SEO Content Writer who understands B2B SaaS and can:

Create SEO-optimized blog posts that drive qualified traffic

Have a clear understanding of E.E.A.T. and search intent

Can connect content to other blogs, business pages, and demo sign-ups

Have a clear understanding of how SaaS teams support and onboard; and how customer experience teams research, evaluate, and purchase software

This is not:

  • A generic copywriter position
  • An SEO content farm setup

We want someone strategic.
Someone who understands that traffic without commercial intent is noise.

What you'll do

Deliver 4 SEO-optimised articles (800 - 1,500 words)

Focus on net-new keyword opportunities

Target mid- to bottom-funnel search intent

Structure content for ranking, clarity, and conversion

Naturally position UserView within real support and onboarding scenarios

Suggest internal linking opportunities

About you

3 - 5 + years writing B2B SaaS content

Experience writing about customer support, onboarding, CX, or SaaS tools

Can show examples of content that ranks (with context around results)

Understand buying psychology within support and onboarding teams

Comfortable working independently, conducting research, and proposing keyword opportunities
