Freelance SAP EWM Technical Consultant - Germany-Based
Location: Germany (Remote with occasional onsite visits)

Our client is looking for a highly skilled SAP EWM Technical Consultant to support their warehouse management transformation projects. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to deliver custom solutions and integrations within complex SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP EWM technical solutions including enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and interfaces.

• Support EWM system configurations through technical development and troubleshooting.

• Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Develop and maintain integrations between SAP EWM and other SAP modules (eg, MM, SD, TM) or third-party systems.

• Conduct unit and integration testing of technical deliverables.

• Provide technical support during UAT and go-live phases.

• Ensure high-quality documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP EWM technical experience (development, configuration, and integration).

• Strong ABAP programming skills and familiarity with EWM-specific enhancements and extensions.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM is a plus.

• Knowledge of warehouse and logistics business processes beneficial.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Fluent in English; German language skills advantageous.

• Based in Germany with the ability to travel onsite occasionally if required.
