We are a network of freelancers including artists, musicians, filmmakers, and other creative practitioners who deliver engaging online chess sessions for children and adults.
We offer chess lessons across the UK and internationally. We are currently seeking confident chess players to provide online coaching services as part of our freelance network.
Key Info
- Complete Flexibility: You have full autonomy to choose the hours you are available to accept tutoring engagements.
- Resources: We provide access to shared teaching materials. As an independent coach, you are welcome to structure your own sessions and bring your own creative style to the board.
- Onboarding Provided: We offer an initial familiarisation phase where you can shadow existing coaches to understand our platform and safeguarding standards.
- Fees: Contractors invoice a fee of £25 per hour.
Requirements
- Consistency: While your schedule is flexible, having around 4 hours of availability per week is ideal for the students you choose to take on.
- Reliability: You must have a stable internet connection and be available for all sessions you schedule.
- Safeguarding: An Enhanced DBS check is required for all contractors working with children. If you do not currently hold one, we can assist with the application process on your behalf.
