Freelance Manager Planning & Logistiek (ZZP)

Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced leader to oversee Planning & Logistics operations at our Meppel site. In this pivotal position, you will shape and implement the strategic direction of the department while managing a sizeable and diverse team. You will be part of both the local Plant Management Team and the wider Planning organization within the Professional Business Group

-acting as the key link between commercial functions and the manufacturing environment.

What You Bring

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree, ideally in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• At least three years of relevant leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of production workflows-preferably in the food industry-and hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP. Exposure to ERP implementation projects or OMP is considered a plus.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Confidence in making decisions even when information is limited or ambiguous.
• A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous process optimization.
• A positive, energetic leader who knows how to motivate, inspire, and connect colleagues, management, and external partners.
