About the Company
We are an innovative energy company based in Amsterdam, focused on sustainable solutions and digital transformation. To strengthen our cloud team, we are looking for an experienced AWS Engineer to help design, implement, and manage our AWS environment.
The Role
As an AWS Engineer, you will be responsible for building and managing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructures within AWS. You will work closely with development teams and other stakeholders to continuously improve and automate the cloud environment.
Your Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and managing AWS infrastructure and services.
• Automating deployment and configuration processes using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting cloud environments.
• Implementing AWS security best practices.
• Collaborating with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Documenting architecture and processes.

Who You Are

• At least 3 years of experience as an AWS Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD tools is a plus.
• Problem-solving mindset, analytical, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Affinity with the energy or sustainable sector is a plus.
