Job Description

Company

We are partnering with a fast-growing business in the logistics and supply chain sector, seeking a commercially minded FP&A Manager to join their team in North Bristol. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of financial strategy, M&A, and operational performance in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Role
As FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial planning and analysis, building models to support strategic decision-making, and contributing to high-profile projects-including M&A transactions. The role sits at the heart of the business, working closely with senior stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.

This position does not require direct line management, making it an excellent first step into FP&A for candidates with a Big4 Transaction Services background who want to broaden their expertise into a commercial industry setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning processes, including budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.

  • Build and maintain advanced financial models for investment appraisal and scenario planning.

  • Provide insightful analysis on cost drivers, margins, and operational KPIs.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align financial performance with strategic goals.

  • Support M&A activity: due diligence, valuations, integrated modelling, and post-deal integration.

  • Present financial reports and insights to senior leadership and board members.

  • Drive improvements in FP&A tools, processes, and reporting frameworks.

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

  • 5+ years' experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or Transaction Services.

  • Strong modelling skills and advanced Excel capability.

  • Experience in M&A transactions highly desirable.

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and partner cross-functionally.

  • Commercially curious, proactive, and solutions-driven.

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary and annual performance bonus.

  • Hybrid working model (4 days in-office, 1 day remote).

  • Private healthcare, pension scheme, and enhanced annual leave.

  • Exposure to senior stakeholders, strategic projects, and M&A activity.
