When a GP refers you to a specialist, the referral goes out and you are told someone will be in touch. So you wait. Days, weeks, sometimes months. Not because anyone is careless, but because reading every referral, calling every patient, and scheduling them in is slow, manual, endless work.

Neutropy fixes that. Our AI handles the entire workflow, from referral to scheduled appointment, cutting scheduling from days to minutes. We are live in Irish private healthcare today and scaling across the market.

The role

We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer: the person who sits between our product and the hospitals that run it. You will deploy Neutropy into new clinics, wire it into their systems, and stay close enough to the ground to turn what you see on site into product.

When a clinic's referral flow does not match our assumptions, you are the one who makes it work, in code, that week. This is an engineering role, not a solutions-consulting one: you write real, tested code, and you own the outcome from first integration to live patient calls.

What you will do

• Own new-clinic deployments end to end: from the first integration to live patient calls.


• Embed with clinic staff. Watch real scheduling happen, find where it breaks, and fix it fast.


• Build and harden the integrations that connect Neutropy to hospital systems (iMedDoc, MEDITECH, Socrates, FHIR).


• Be the feedback loop: turn what you see on site into product requirements the core team can build on.


• Ship end to end, and prove it works with real patients before you call it done.

What we are looking for

• 3+ years building software, comfortable across a stack (TypeScript and Python here).


• You like being in the room with users. You would rather sit with a practice manager for a morning than read a spec.


• Calm and exact under real-world mess: half-documented systems, live patient data, tight windows.


• Clear communication: you can explain a technical decision to a clinician and a co-founder in the same breath.


• Comfort owning ambiguity and being on the ground with clinics around Dublin.

Strong pluses: healthcare or any regulated-data environment (GDPR, Article 9); integration-heavy or deployment-heavy past roles; startup or early-stage experience.
