Job Description

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be on the front lines of delivering our technology to customers. You'll work directly with clients to understand their workflows, customize and deploy solutions, and ensure our products deliver real value. You'll need to wear multiple hats - part engineer, part consultant, part product thinker.

What You'll Do

Collaborate closely with customers to understand their technical and business challenges.
Design, customize, and deploy Scope's AI-powered solutions in customer environments.
Build integrations, APIs, and workflows that connect Scope's products to customer systems.
Solve complex technical problems, balancing speed and scalability.
Act as a technical advisor and advocate for customers, influencing product direction based on real-world feedback.
Work with the engineering team to harden and scale solutions for broader deployment.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with customer-facing or consulting exposure.
Strong coding skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
Experience building APIs, integrations, or data pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Excellent problem-solving skills - you're comfortable tackling ambiguous, open-ended challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration skills - you can translate between customer needs and technical solutions.
