Job Description

We're recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver / Production Operative to join a busy food manufacturing business based in Heckington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking stable, full-time work with the chance of securing a permanent position.

Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll split your time between operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and supporting the production team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move stock and materials.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Supporting production by filling 1 tonne bulk bags and 25kg sacks with product.
• Assisting with general production and warehouse duties.
• Following food hygiene, health & safety and quality procedures.
• Helping to keep the production area clean, organised and efficient.

Please note that this role is approximately 20% FLT driving and 80% production-based work.

Duration: Long term, temp to perm opportunity

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate

• £12.99 per hour
• £16.23 per hour after 48 hours worked

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 12 hour day shifts
• Overtime paid after 48 hours each week

What We're Looking For

• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (In house not accepted).
• A dependable individual with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Someone looking for long term employment.
• Ability to undertake manual handling and work in a physically active environment.
• Comfortable working in a busy food production setting.
• No allergies to peanuts or tree nuts.
