The Role

Aspire People are looking for a Food Technology Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Cardiff on a full-time basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in Food Technology, Catering, Hospitality or Education who enjoys supporting young people in a practical learning environment.

? The Role Includes

Supporting students during Food Technology lessons
Assisting with practical cooking and food preparation activities
? Supporting the Food Technology teacher with classroom activities
Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
Helping maintain a safe, clean and organised practical classroom
Encouraging students to develop confidence and practical skills

We're Looking For

Experience or qualifications in Food Technology, Catering or Hospitality is desirable
? Practical cooking or food preparation experience
Experience working with children or young people is desirable
A patient, supportive and positive approach
Strong awareness of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
