As a Food Tech TA, you will play a key part in the smooth running of the department, including:

• Supporting the Food Technology teacher during practical and theory lessons
• Preparing materials, ingredients, and equipment for lessons
• Ensuring a safe, hygienic, and well organised classroom environment
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to students who may need extra help
• Encouraging students to develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills
• Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour

• Experience within a school, catering, or practical subject environment (desirable)
• A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  A passion for supporting young people and helping them progress

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated department team
