The Role

• Teach Food Technology across the secondary age range.
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical and creative lessons.
• Inspire students to develop their culinary, nutritional and food preparation skills.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom management.
• Support students of varying abilities and encourage their confidence and progression.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a positive school environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passionate about Food Technology and committed to helping students succeed.
• Able to start ASAP.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although support with the DBS process may be available.
