Food Safety Inspector

Overview

We have a longstanding contract to deliver around 700-800 combined hygiene and standards inspections for a Local Authority client in East London. We have 2 inspectors in place already, both of which have been in place for a long time but we need to add additional resource for the new financial year, 26-27.

Responsibilities

• Visit the premises, complete the inspection and issue the risk ratings.
• Produce inspection reports for approximately 700-800 combined hygiene and standards inspections in the contract span.

Engagement details

The work programme is flexible and can be carried out evenings and weekends. We typically focus on low-risk premises so Cat C-E and Unrated new businesses. Ideally the candidate would commit to the full 12 month period and be available to work on a fairly consistent basis each month. We probably have around 200-300 inspections, so you are looking at an allocation of around 20-25 per month.

Compensation

You can work Ltd or umbrella and we will pay £65 for Cat C & D inspections.
