Duties as Food and Nutrition Teacher:

• Teach Food & Nutrition across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Deliver GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
• Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Support students in developing culinary skills and nutritional knowledge
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, achievement, and participation
• Contribute positively to the wider Design & Technology department

Ideal Food and Nutrition Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
• Strong subject knowledge and practical food skills
• Ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Commitment to raising student achievement
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
