Food & Beverage Team Member

We're looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member. In this role, you'd be making a real difference to the work of the National Trust, as well as helping to give people a memorable day out.

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Contract type: Zero hour contract. We aim to provide a consistent work pattern, but flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. The role includes weekends and bank holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.

Hours / Working pattern: Depending on availability, we are looking to offer 3 5 shifts per week (15-35 hours) during the main season, with 1 3 days per week outside of that time.

Contract duration: Fixed term contract ending Sunday 3rd January 2027.

Responsibilities

As a Team Member, your main focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people. You'll be serving hot food, processing transactions at the till, making drinks, scooping ice cream, clearing tables, washing dishes, and carrying out light food prep activity. This is a lively business that's constantly on the go, so teamwork and adaptability are crucial. We'll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role.
