Are the 'face of IBIS Shoreditch', extending a warm welcome to our guests during their stay, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay.

Contract - Full Time, Permanent , 39 hours / Week.

  • In charge of all Food & Beverage operations including restaurant, bar and kitchen.
  • Lead Food & Beverage Team & Kitchen Team to provide excellent service.
  • Ensure effective cost control and maximise profitability for the Food & Beverage & Kitchen Teams.
  • Responsible for maintenance & health & safety across all Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, hotel policies and health & safety requirements.
  • Liaise closely with other teams internally to ensure smooth operations.
  • Produce and analyse financial reports daily, monthly and as and when required.
  • Implement Accor Vision, Values and emergency communication protocols.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required by management.
  • Perform Talent & Culture duties required for the department.
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate with Reservations and Sales team regarding banquet revenue.
  • Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive guest service
  • Work with the Management to meet and exceed budgeted hotel targets
  • Able to think strategically and maximize our hotel's potential.

You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position and be in possession of a current work visa. In line with the requirements set by the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • At least one year experience working in Hotel Departmental Management role
  • College degree in a related discipline
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of English
  • Ability to work as a Head of Department and cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
