We run 185 cafes all over England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and we're looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to join our team. Because we are in a rural area, please consider travel to the site before applying.
Hours, Salary and ContractHours: 1,950 hours per annum, equivalent to 37.5 per week. Working pattern: 9-5 in summer, 9-4 in winter, including at least one weekend day and late night openings (8.30 pm) in summer. Salary: £27,612 per annum. Duration: Permanent.
What you'll be doingAs Food & Beverage Assistant Manager you'll work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to keep the operation running smoothly, maintaining high standards in service, food, and drink. You'll support the team in recruitment, training and development, and help create a pleasant workplace. You'll set and achieve financial targets to increase income and profits, control resources, and drive sales. You'll receive induction, training in allergens and food safety, and mentoring, with opportunities for further professional development.
Who we're looking for- Experience delivering outstanding customer service in a similar environment.
- Strong leadership skills, adept at setting objectives and giving feedback.
- Budgeting experience to increase income and control costs, including stock and waste management.
- Excellent communication and a friendly attitude.
- Awareness of health and safety compliance.
