FLT Drivers

FLT Drivers are required for a long term contract in Telford, working fixed 12 hour shifts on either days or nights until March 2027. The role involves operating counterbalance forklifts to support warehouse and production operations, including moving stock, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining material flow across the site. Day shifts pay £13.31 per hour, while night shifts attract a 13.64% premium, bringing the rate to £15.13. Full time positions are available with rotating patterns covering Monday to Saturday plus alternate Sundays. Experienced drivers with a valid counterbalance licence will find this a stable, well structured assignment with consistent hours and a competitive salary ranging from £27,684 to £31,844 per annum.

The Role

We're recruiting experienced counterbalance forklift drivers to join a long term shift rota running until March 2027. You'll be supporting warehouse and production operations, moving stock safely, loading/unloading, and keeping materials flowing across site. This is a stable, well structured role with fixed 12 hour shifts and a night shift premium.

Shift Patterns Available

• Dayshift (£13.31 per hour) Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday + every other Sunday
• Thursday-Friday-Saturday + every other Sunday
• Nightshift (£13.31 + 13.64% premium) Sunday-Monday-Tuesday + every other Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock, pallets and materials across site
• Supporting production and warehouse flow
• Following site safety procedures and reporting hazards
• Maintaining housekeeping standards

Requirements

• Valid counterbalance FLT licence
• Previous forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts
• Good communication and reliability
• Strong awareness of health & safety
