FLT Driver

This role is for an FLT Driver based in Brierley Hill, offering a full-time, temporary-to-permanent contract at £13.17 per hour.

Working Sunday to Thursday, the standard shift runs from 10:00am to 6:00pm, though flexibility between 9:00am and 8:00pm is required. You must also be available to work any day of the week as operational needs demand.

Duties involve safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, loading and unloading deliveries, moving stock, and undertaking picking and packing tasks. The position suits an experienced driver seeking a long term role.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy warehouse on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long term position with a well established company.

The standard shift is 10:00am to 6:00pm, Sunday to Thursday, however, due to business demands, you must be flexible to work between 9:00am and 8:00pm. You should also be available to work across all seven days of the week if required, with shifts adjusted to meet operational needs.

Duties Include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Carrying out stock checks and replenishment.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and adhering to health and safety procedures.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a valid, in date FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach).
• Previous warehouse and forklift driving experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible with working hours and days to support business requirements.
• Good attention to detail and able to work as part of a team.
