Where You'll Be Working

Our nursery is beautifully situated in front of the River Colne, offering stunning views and a natural environment full of wildlife. The children love making the most of this unique setting-whether it's spotting birds and animals on walks or observing nature through the windows with their binoculars. We're also proud to welcome a mobile library that visits the nursery regularly, giving children the opportunity to exchange books and enjoy a wide variety of texts, nurturing a love for reading from an early age. For our preschool children, we offer Super Star Sports sessions where they develop essential physical skills such as ball control, spatial awareness, and problem-solving through fun obstacle courses and structured activities using a range of equipment. We have three rooms in our nursery: the Baby Room (0-2 years), Toddler Room (2-3 years), and Preschool Room (3-5 years), each designed to support children at their specific stage of development.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Bank Nursery Team, you'll support children and colleagues across the nursery as and when needed -whether that's covering holidays, supporting during busy periods, or helping provide consistency for children when teams need extra support.

No two days are ever quite the same -and that's part of the joy.

One moment you could be building dens outdoors and the next you'll be helping bring story time to life.

You'll support children through play, creativity, curiosity, and connection while helping create a safe, nurturing environment where they feel happy, valued, and confident to explore.

What We're Looking For

Experience working in a childcare or Early Years setting, a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential.
