Job Description

Directorate: Adult Social Care and All Age Commissioning

Section: All Age Commissioning

Grade: Level 5 (Subject to Review)

Hours: 37 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring driver to join our expanding transport team.

Responsibilities
  • Flexible and willing to undertake training.
  • Transport service users to and from Day Centres, assisting them on and off the vehicles as necessary. Other journeys include libraries, swimming pools and shopping, accompanied by their carer's or passenger assistant.
  • Full driving licence needed to drive category D1 vehicles.
  • Friendly, professional and courteous driver.

  • Evidence of professional qualifications or registrations
  • DBS check at the appropriate level (if applicable for the role)
