Job Role: Fleet Coordinator in Dungannon area

Salary: Negotiable

Hours: Full Time

Contract: Permanent

Reporting To: Fleet Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Fleet Coordinator to support the smooth operation of a large commercial vehicle fleet. This is a key role within the operations team, ensuring vehicles are maintained, compliant, and fully operational at all times. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong administrative skills, and enjoy coordinating multiple tasks across different stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support administration of a large commercial vehicle fleet
  • Coordinate routine maintenance, servicing, repairs, and defect reporting
  • Ensure full compliance with tax, insurance, MOTs, and driver licence checks
  • Manage insurance claims and breakdown support processes
  • Monitor fuel usage and out-of-hours vehicle activity
  • Provide guidance and support to drivers on company procedures
  • Liaise with internal departments, drivers, and external suppliers
  • Maintain accurate fleet records and produce regular reports
  • Carry out vehicle condition checks and occasional vehicle movements
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong administrative experience in a busy environment
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
