Fire Engineer - Technical Strategy Lead

The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) is seeking technically qualified professionals to help shape the future of building safety in England. This senior role offers a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with strategic influence, contributing to the development of national policy, statutory guidance, and operational practice for complex and higher-risk buildings.

You will lead technical workstreams, advise on Gateway applications and safety case reviews, and act as a mentor and expert advisor across the organisation. As part of BSR's Technical Policy Division, you will work with government departments, industry, and other regulators to strengthen the building control system and ensure proportionate, risk-based decisions that protect people in and around buildings.
