Job Description

Fire Door Trainer
Location: Hemel Hempstead & London (with travel across the South of the UK)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (flexibility required)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE) + Company Car

Join Hydro-X Training, one of the UK's leading Health, Safety & Compliance training providers and a proud part of Marlowe Environmental Services. We're on the lookout for a Fire Door Trainer to deliver high-quality, compliance-led training to professionals across the South of the UK.

What can you expect?

You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering the training portfolio within your specialist area, ensuring it is:

  • Aligned with the needs of our clients, awarding bodies, and the wider industry
  • Delivered to the highest quality, meeting all internal benchmarks
  • Innovative and market-leading within the sector

What youll be doing:

  • Delivering expert fire door training and assessments to industry professionals.
  • Supporting the Training Manager and collaborating across departments to ensure seamless course delivery.
  • Travelling to client sites, primarily in the South of England, to provide practical, hands-on instruction.
  • Representing Hydro-X Training with professionalism and technical excellence.

What are the requirements:

  • Solid experience as a Supervisor or Project Manager in fire door installation and maintenance.
  • A hands-on background as a qualified carpenter/joiner.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and legislative requirements.
  • A passion for training others and improving safety standards across the industry.
