Job Title: Finishing & Packaging Operator

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and ever-growing print and packaging company that is looking for aFinishing & Packaging Operator to join their high-performing production team.

The RoleAs a Finishing & Packaging Operator, you'll take ownership of machines within the Finishing & Packaging department - ensuring they run efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
You'll be:
- Ensuring the correct job, code and version are running
- Setting up machines and gaining "OK to Proceed" sign-off
- Monitoring quality and making precision adjustments to maintain output
- Maximising machine speed while maintaining exceptional standards
- Leading smooth and effective shift handovers
- Coaching and guiding assistants allocated to your machine
- Supporting across other machines when required
- Maintaining Lean Manufacturing standards
- Ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, BRC and Health & Safety regulations
- Completing all required production and quality documentation
- Reporting issues, breakdowns or target shortfalls proactively
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and accountability are key.
What We're Looking For:We're keen to speak to candidates who demonstrate:
- Strong machine operating experience within manufacturing/packaging
- Excellent quality awareness and attention to detail
- Solid Health & Safety knowledge (BRC understanding highly desirable)
- A proactive approach to hitting and exceeding production targets
- Confidence communicating across shifts and with leadership teams
- A team-focused mindset with the ability to guide and support others
- Flexibility to provide cross-machine and holiday/sickness cover
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and BRC standards

3 shift rotation contract but rarely working nights, mostly double shift.
