About the Company:
Our client is a leading player in the energy sector, focused on delivering innovative solutions for a sustainable future. With a strong commitment to growth and operational excellence, they are seeking a talented Financial Controller to join their dynamic team.

About Your New Job:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Manage the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.

What Skills You Need:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar financial management or controller role.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Experience in the energy, renewables, or infrastructure sector is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
