Job Description
Job Purpose This is a remote role with office locations in Chippenham and Aberdeen.The successful candidate will be required to attend the Chippenham office approximately twice per month. Occasional travel to the Aberdeen office will be required based on business needs.A commercial role that directly supports the General Manager with a focus on high-quality reporting and especially on adding value to the business and impacting results.Key Responsibilities Take on company-wide finance tasks as allocated from time to time Knowledge and Skills required: The ideal candidate will be / have: Professionally qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with at least 3 years post qualification experience. Strong organisational abilities, experience of working to tight deadlines and a hands-on approach to finance. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, look-up functions and similar is essential for all analysis and reporting dutiesDeep knowledge of accounting principles, good understanding of financial/management information systems. Technically competent with finance and accounting knowledge and skills.Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to and implement change. of numeracy (Accounting/Maths/Statistics) and the ability to interpret management informationExperience with Microsoft Great Plains or NetSuite experience of working within IFRS15 Previous experience of working within a multi-currency reporting environmentAbility to work flexible hours under pressure to tight timescales.Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, technical and dynamic environment, with an understanding of hybrid work dynamics.Good sense of humour, with the ability to create and maintain excellent communication between different stakeholders at all levels across the organisationAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced, technical and dynamic environment, with an understanding of hybrid and remote work dynamics.
