The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, senior leadership role offering both strategic influence and operational responsibility. You'll lead a small in-house finance team and manage outsourced credit control, reporting directly to the MD. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to progress toward a Finance Director role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Provide commercial insight to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Champion the use of technology to enhance finance operations and customer/supplier interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and fiscal requirements.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) with proven experience in a senior finance role.
- Strong background in B2C, scale-up, or high-growth environments.
- Passion for technology and process improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
