Talentedge are exclusively representing a rapidly scaling B2B SaaS organisation on the hiring of a Financial Controller.

The Financial Controller will be supporting the leadership team and managing a team below. This role encompasses a broad range of financial responsibilities, including technical accounting, financial reporting, and overseeing international finance operations.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the financial health and compliance of the business as it scales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and building of the international accounting function.
• Manage day-to-day finance, owning both monthly management accounts and annual statutory reporting preparation.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance across UK and international entities.
• Continuous improvements of internal processes, systems and controls. Help the development of best-in-class function.
• Key business partner to senior leadership in finance and across the business.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: ACA Qualified with an Audit background.
• Experience: Significant post-qualification experience in a high growth startup/scaleup.
• Skills:
• Strong technical accounting expertise.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and consolidation.
• Experience working on international entities, preference for US reporting and regulations exposure.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software and ERP systems.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
