Financial controller

Nexeo Belgium is looking for a Financial controller to join one of the top financial institutions in Belgium.

As part of the IT Production department, you will play a key role in monitoring and managing financial performance, supporting budget processes, and ensuring proper follow-up of contracts and expenditures.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to IT Production teams in managing their budget forecasts and financial reporting.
• Monitor, manage, and document the evolution of all cost categories (Resource Costs, Non-Resource Costs, Subcontracting).
• Oversee the full life-cycle of contracts, from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders such as Tribe Leads, Contract Managers, Procurement, and other internal partners.
• Use various internal tools to initiate requests, track spending status, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Track and manage the finance process end-to-end, ensuring timely and complete execution of all required steps.

Your profile:

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics or a related field.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in performance management, ideally in a banking environment.
• You have excellent analytical skills and are comfortable with budget tracking and forecasting.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have a strong process-driven mindset.
• You are detail-oriented, organized, and have strong communication skills.
• Experience with BNPP tools and financial processes is a strong plus.

Languages:

• You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
